He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldridge Garner and Martha Garner (Little); his brothers, Jack and Jerry Garner; and his grandson Lucas Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Janet; his daughters, Jill Garner, Julie Hartman (Edward), Karen Brown (Michael) and Anne Runyan (Dennis); his grandchildren, Ellen Steinke, Elizabeth King (Caleb), Paul Hartman (Cara), Bradley Hartman (Kristen), Hannah Hartman-Becker (Jack), Mark Hartman (Michelle), Lee Hartman (Kyleigh), Ryne Brown (Lacey), Kristen Melendez (Matt), April Runyan, Lynn Senter (Marcus), Dana Clark (Trevor) and Gail Ransford (Ryan); and his great grandchildren, Theo King, Jesse, Abigail Hartman, Henry Becker, Lillian, Rosalie Hartman, Lucille, Rose Brown, Madison, Parker Logan, Mateo Melendez, Milo, Lyra, Nonny, Devotion Senter, Simon, Willa Clark, Abel, Silas, Titus and Miriam Ransford.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services (415 S Main St, Fairmount, IN 46928).
