He is survived by: his spouse Laurie; his daughter Kathie Metz of Virginia; and his siblings, Carolyn Smith, Patricia (Bruce Peterson), Cindy (Ed Patton), Gary (Lynn Knight), Vincent (Lisa Knight) and Steve (Susan Knight). He is also survived by sisters-in-law.
