He was predeceased by: his brother Jerome Allen McCoy; and his daughter Brittany Elam. He is survived by: his daughters, Candace A. Elam, Briana Elam (Telisha), Marion Elam and Bionca Elam; his grandchildren, Cayden Elam, Nyla Daley, ProMiz Elam, Mii, Khel Elam, Jyi and Mani Rushing; his sisters, Margo Palmer-McCoy (Russell) of Washington and Angela McCoy-Jackson (Marvin); his stepbrother Kenneth Dyson (Julie); his aunt Lula Andrews (Stillie); and also Jeff Boyce. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
