We are sad to announce that on August 21, 2024, at the age of 60, Brenda Sue Johnson of Marion, Indiana, born in Mansfield, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Norma Simmons (Beal); her daughter Amanda Shafer; and her brother Gary "Skinny" Simmons. She is survived by: her father Gene Simmons (Nora Goodrich); her husband Jimmy Johnson; her children, Alice Holt, Brian Alters, Jr., Catrina Brown (T. J.), Dustin Shearer (Samantha Lowe) and Joshua Johnson; her grandchildren, Chloe, Livy, Danica, Dahlia, Jacob, Logan, Skyla, Anoka, Holden and Benny; her brother Larry Simmons; her sister-in-law Laurie Simmons; and her friends, Donna Chafins (Don), Leoa Linamen (Terry), Raina Chapman and Carlee Saunier (Geoff). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
