We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2024, at the age of 86, Barbara L. Piper of Marion, Indiana, born in La Porte, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert J. Nelson and Irene K. Nelson (Edwards); her son Ken Piper; her grandson Jeff Zahalka; and her siblings, Shirley Logman and Richard "Rick" Nelson.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Wortman (Larry) of Marion, Kraig Piper of Marion, Kyle Piper (Danielle) of Noblesville and Keith Piper (Peggy) of Marion; her granddaughter Rhonda Stiles; her great grandchildren, Kaylee Zahalka, Alaina Zahalka, Ally Zahalka, Zariah Zahalka and Brayden Zahalka; and her brother David Nelson (Eileen) of Michigan City. She is also survived by her family, friends.
