It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roberta Jochim of Mariah Hill, Indiana, born in Saint Meinrad, Indiana, who passed away on August 15, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Handschiegl and Mary Frances Handschiegl (Fetter); her husband William Jochim; her sisters, Ruth Salzman and Mildred Striewe; her son-in-law Herb Dilger; and her great grandchild Isaac Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Stan Jochim (LeAnn) of Mariah Hill, Sam Jochim (Karen) of Mariah Hill and Sandy Dilger (Ron Legg) of Santa Claus; and her sister Norma Sonderman of Lebanon, IN. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of gifts, memorial contributions may be made to IGM Music Matters Foundation, Mariah Hilf Foundation, North Spencer Community Action Center or St. Francis of Assisi Parish.
