It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Louis Schum of Mariah Hill, Indiana, who passed away on November 6, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Schum and Lucille Schum (Hartz); his wife Dorothy R. Fendel; his sisters, Rita Sitzman, Mary Agnes Ubelhor, Mildred June Callicott, Doris Jean Bates and Christine Schum; and his son-in-law Albert Hagedorn.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Hagedorn of Dale, Becky Fella (Mark) of Santa Claus, Larry Schum (Cynthia) of Cornville, AZ and Kenny Schum (Deb) of Bristow; his grandchildren, Phil (JoAnn), Jason (Martha), Aaron Hagedorn (Sheila), Amanda Kalb (Josh) and Colton Schum (Jenny); his great grandchildren, Cody, Dylan, Madison, Jacob, Kendra Hagedorn, Grayson, Vance, Declan Kalb, Russell, Della Schum, Lacey VanWinkle (Casey) and Jayme Anderson (Cole); his great great grandchild Emmett VanWinkle; and his siblings, Mike Schum (Judy) of Dale, Esther Gehlhausen of Ferdinand, Verena Tretter (Leo) of Ferdinand and Beverly Vowels (Ken) of Evansville.
