It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Lee Gogel of Mariah Hill, Indiana, born in Washington, Indiana, who passed away on April 23, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Gogel and Marcella Gogel (Wilmes); and his siblings, Alice Kemper, Cindy, Mary Gogel and Larry Gogel.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Gogel; his children, Lindsay Edwards (Chris) of Jasper and Blake Gogel (Alicia) of Bretzville; his grandchildren, Maddie, Chloe Edwards, Aubree, Avery and Addison Gogel; his siblings, Judy Eckerle (Kerry) of Ferdinand, Diane Hoppenjans (Alvin) of Ferdinand, Randy Gogel (LaVerne) of Mariah Hill, Rick Gogel (Devonna) of Dale and Harold Gogel (Linda) of Santa Claus; his nephews, Todd Werne and Brandon Gogel; and his brother-in-law Ralph Hoppenjans.
