He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Gogel and Frances Gogel (Bockting); his wife Philomena Jones of Paul's Catholic Church; his daughter Annette "Annie" Gunselman; and his siblings, Tom, Fred, Barney, Leo, Jim Gogel, Irene Bettag, Romilda Westenhofer and Catherine Rasche.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Gogel (Terri) of Dale and Kimberly Sibrel (Jeff) of Santa Claus; and his grandchildren, Taylor, Tucker Gogel, Whitney Hirsch, Logan, Lauren Sibrel, Kirstie and Matthew Gunselman. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
