He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Tolbert and Hazel Tolbert (Case); his son Timothy "Travis" Tolbert; his brothers, Larry Rex Tolbert and Phillip Tolbert (Rita); his nephew Patrick Tolbert; and his siblings-in-law, Novy Newkirk and Rita Bowles.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Evelyn Tolbert (Newkirk) of Taswell, Indiana; his children, Tyler Tolbert (Megan) of Seymour, Indiana, Kristi Rawlins of Cynthiana, Kentucky and Dwana Tolbert-Dye (Patrick) of Cynthiana, Kentucky; his brother Bill Tolbert of Washington Courthouse, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Jason Dye, Jonathan Knapp, Evelyn and Theodore Tolbert.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hillview Christian Church (4180 E. State Road 64, Marengo, IN 47140). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
