She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton R. Kraus and Charlotte M. Kraus (Craig); her grandson Ryan Brown; and her sister Dorothy Whitaker. She is survived by: her husband Richard A. Brown of Marengo, Indiana; her children, Rick Brown (Trenia) of Hardinsburg, Cliff Brown (Tracie) of Marengo, Indiana, Laura Johnson (Matt) of Marengo, Charlotte Key (George) of Marengo and Jennifer Jones (Steve) of Mitchell, Indiana; her brother Mark Kraus (Lezlee) of Clarksville, Indiana; and her grandsons, Nathan Johnson, Chad Johnson, Josh Brown, John Key, Aaron Key and Kyle Brown. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
