She was predeceased by: her father Claude E. Atkins; her husband Charles Edward Saltsgaver (Jack); her son Charles Dennis Saltsgaver; and her great grandchild Dakota Saltsgaver. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Sharon Green (Garland), Dennis Saltsgaver (Bub) and Alan Melton (Megan); and her great grandchildren, Shelbi Talley (Gabe), Alex Green (Shelby Tower), Desirea, Dayton Saltsgaver, Lea Davis, Dylan Davis, Flint Melton and Meadow Melton.
