We are sad to announce that on October 31, 2021, at the age of 87, Helen Jean Dearborn of Marengo, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Van Meter and Cleavy Van Meter; her husband Gilbert Dearborn; and her sisters, Irene Van Meter and Patsy Wright.

She is survived by: her children, Maximina Shelton (Elmer), Terry Dearborn and Rita Richards (Tim); and her siblings, Jane Bartlett, Otto Van Meter and Russel Van Meter. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild.
