He is survived by: his children, Shane Whitaker (Emily) of Greensburg and Keri Cunningham of Rushville; his siblings, Eddie Nicholson (Sharon) of Little Rock, Arkansas, Connie Wiesner of Columbus and Brenda Caffee of Roanoke; his grandchildren, Veronica (Abbi), Alyssa, Kaelynn, Brett and Jake; and his mother-in-law Mavern Newton of Morristown.
