He was predeceased by: his mother Leona; his stepfather Marty Evers; his grandparents, Jake and Ethel Weitzel of Plain, Wisconsin.; his son Trampas; and his brothers, Johnny (Lori) and Bob Bowell.
He is survived by: his wife Vicki Weitzel (Nickolas) of Manilla; his sons, Travis Weitzel (Kriste) of Homer and Toma Weitzel (Tracy) of Manilla; his grandchild Ciara Bertram (Ryan) of Paige Weitzel, T. J; his stepgranddaughters, Ashley Wissler, Alyx Jones and Haley Shoffner; his great grandchildren, Gabby, Hudson, Greyson and Emmett; his siblings, Maureen Kinnard (Rod) of Wisconsin, MaryAnn Collar (John) of Wisconsin, Jodi Collar (Larry) of Wisconsin, Scott Evers of Wisconsin, Joe Evers (Betsy) of Wisconsin, Suzie Vandenheuvel (Kurt) of Wisconsin, Cyndi Sorenson (Keith) of Illinois, Mary Jane Liegel (Ed), Teresa Lin (Dan), Judy Diehl and Emil Diehl of Wisconsin; and his close friends, Dave, Darlene Meixelsperger, Dorothy Bowell, Nancy Haehl (John) and Sue Taves of Wisconsin.
