She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Starkey and Violet Starkey (Bland). She is survived by: her husband Harlan Lowell Nigh; her children, Pauline Hayes (Gary) of Reader, Cindy Howell of Pine Grove, Shannon Nigh of Greensburg and Brian "Keith" Haught of Reader; her grandchildren, D. J. Hayes (Alex), Madison Howell, Jaydon Howell and Spencer Nigh; her great grandchildren, Jayce Hayes and Gage Hayes; and her pets, Dora, Minnie, Clyde and Axel.

Memorial contributions may be made to Major Hospital Partners to help with Bernice's medical expenses.
