He was predeceased by: his father William W. Kirk Sr.; and his sister Dina Gibson. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Lynn Kirk (Snelling); his sons, Christopher Wayne Kirk of Scottsburg, William W. Kirk III of Louisville, Bradley Wayne Kirk of Louisville and Daniel Scott of Louisville, Kentucky; his stepdaughter Ashley Owens of Tennessee; and his sister Angela Kirk of Corydon, Indiana. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
