He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Elizabeth Jacoby Harrell and Charles R. Bernard Harrell; his son Charles Eric Harrell; and his brothers, Donald Harrell, Richard Kendall Harrell, Sr., Everett T. Harrell, Kenneth Joe Harrell and Billy D. Harrell.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Ellen Eckert of Madison, Indiana; his son Jonathan Brent Harrell of Indianapolis, Indiana; his grandchildren, Kirsten (Kolton), Kyra (Isaac), Kenzie, Deric and Devin; and his great grandchildren, Wesley, Max, Adeline, Lainey and Caroline. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
