He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy "Pete" Meier and Agnes Cash Meier; and his daughter Lou Ann Meier Lohr (Febraury). He is survived by: his wife Elaine V. Long Meier of Madison, Indiana; his daughters, Brenda Meier of Madison and Charlotte Meier of Castleberry, Florida; his grandchildren, Hannah Lohr Smalley (Evan) and Dillon Lohr; his brother Larry Meier (Rhoda) of Charlestown, Indiana; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Arbuckle of Madison, Ronnie Long (Janet) of Madison, Eston Long (Cindy) of Hanover, Dora Powell of Madison, Kenny Long (Jackie) of Madison, David Long (Linda) of Lexington, Jenita Long of Madison and Penny Long of Madison, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre (325 Demaree Dr, Madison, IN 47250). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Grandview Memorial Gardens (9306 US-421, Madison, IN 47250).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kent Christian Church or the Southwestern FFA.
