In loving memory of Shirley Rae Winternheimer of Madison, Indiana, who departed this world on October 28, 2024 at the age of 91. Shirley Rae leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Deken (McCann) and Raymond Deken; and her siblings, Larry, Thomas, Marvin, Jerry, Donald Deken, Judy Gilles and Delores Deken.

She is survived by: her husband Roy Winternheimer of Madison; her children, Mark Winternheimer (Angela) of Sellersburg, Indiana and Cheryl Roberts (David) of Madison, Indiana; her grandchildren, Jesse Roberts (Danielle), Tregan Roberts (Allison), Hana Ebeling (Luke), Julian Winternheimer (Helen), Grace Winternheimer, Sarah Winternheimer and Henry Winternheimer; her great grandchildren, Silas, Dawson, Hadley, Wyatt, Emmett and Atlas; and her brother-in-law Gene Gilles (Betty). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church - Chapel (3033 Martin Rd, Floyds Knobs, IN 47119). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

Contributions in Shirley's memory may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana (2626 17th Street, Columbus, IN 47201) or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
