She was predeceased by: her parents, David Tilley and Virgie McAlister Tilley; her granddaughter Ashley Olivio; her son-in-law Raymond Denton; and her siblings, Arnold Tilley, Larry Tilley and Susie Tilley.
She is survived by: her husband John Alexandro Grubbs of Madison, Indiana; her children, Tim Konkle of Madison, Greg Konkle (Diane) of South Bend, Cary Konkle of Madison, Indiana and Jessica Evans (Eric) of La Salle, Michigan; her stepchildren, Anna Denton of Hanover, Irene Poeschell (Patrick) of Crown Point, Laura Garner of Madison, Indiana and John A. Grubbs (Melissa) of Hobart, Indiana; her brother Earl Tilley (Nina) of Pensacola, Florida; and her siblings-in-law, Jimmy Grubbs of Madison, Tom Grubbs (Shirley) of North Carolina and Rosemary Stucker (Bill) of Brownstown, Indiana.. She is also survived by 34 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
