He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel E. Southerland and Marilyn Southerland (Ray); and his brothers, Larry Southerland, Gary Southerland and John Southerland.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Southerland (White); his daughters, Jennifer Browning of Anderson and Melissa Tharp of Anderson; his grandchildren, Logan Wrin (Brett) of Anderson, Megan Tharp of Anderson and Rickie Tharp II of Anderson; his great grandchildren, Peyton Wrin and Emersyn Wrin of Fishers; and his sisters, Stephanie Swart of Anderson, Carol Blakely of Anderson and Vicki Davidson of Anderson.
