She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernst Englemann and Johanna Englemann (Schultz); her husband Bill; and her siblings, Heinz Englemann, Horst Englemann, Ursula Englemann and Gisela Englemann.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carmen Strain (Tim) of Earlham, Kimberly Bown (David) of Winterset and Stacie Young; her grandchildren, Sarah Stonehocker (Josh), Abby Thompson (Cole), Victorea Meza (Henry), Robert Strain (Marina), Justin Bown (Alex) and Tyler Goering (Anna); her great grandchildren, Natalie Strain, Aubrey Goering, Emma Meza, Estelle Meza, Cole Stonehocker, Cheyenne Stonehocker, Tucker Thompson and Wyatt Thompson; and her sisters-in-law, Marichen Englemann and Barbel Englemann.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calendar Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory - Winterset Chapel (1823 N John Wayne Dr, Winterset, IA 50273). Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at 34204 Veterans Memorial Dr, Adel, IA 50003.
