She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Mae Peterson Willhoite and Clayton Heartson "Clay" Willhoite; her son Bryan Neal Sides; her daughter-in-law Linda June Dillard; her stepsons, Dennis Newman and Richard Lee "Ricky" Newman; her stepgranddaughter Tricia Newman; her stepgreat-grandson Damian Newman; her stepchildren, Barbara Ann Newman Young and Orville Allen Newman; her brothers, Robert "Bob" Clayton Willhoite and Rickey Allen "Rick" Willhoite; her sister-in-law Mary Powers; her stepdaughter-in-law Bonnie Newman; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Helen Willhoite, Betty Rogers and Wilmer "Bud" Newman, Jr..

She is survived by: her husband Orville O. Newman, Sr. of Madison, Indiana; her daughter Gina Sides (Kim Burge) of Madison, Indiana; her stepchildren, Roy Eddie Newman (Judy) of Salem, Tom Newman (Teresa) of Grainsville, Leroy Newman of Madison, Ace Newman of Jasper, Indiana and Debbie Newman of Madison, Indiana; her brother Larry Willhoite (Carolyn Jones) of Carrollton, Kentucky; and her siblings-in-law, Lorrie Willhoite of Madison, Indiana and Raymond Newman of Saluda, Indiana. She is also survived by her 21 grandchildren; her 21-great grandchildren; her 7-great great grandchildren.
