He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick "Fred" Russell Overpeck, Sr. and Lucy Mildred Holt Overpeck; and his sisters, Marjorie Joanne Ritchie, Linda Carole Simmons Tilley and Doris Paige Reed.
He is survived by: his sons, Frederick Russell "Rusty" Overpeck, III (Cristina) of Weatherford, James Michael "Jim" Overpeck (Tina) of Madison and John David Overpeck (Kimberly Ann) of Sand Point, Idaho; his grandchildren, Aaron Overpeck, Brendan Overpeck, Lauren Mix, Kaidra Overpeck, Phillip Overpeck, Brayden Overpeck, Reaghan Overpeck, Emily Overpeck, Joel Lopez, Emmanuel Lopez, Terry Zacharie and Sara Zacharie; his great grandchildren, Cayden Mix, Bennett Mix and Aniston Overpeck; his siblings-in-law, Gene Ritchie of Lexington, Earl Morris (Marilyn) of Bennington, Indiana, Virginia Stephan (Alois) of Canaan, Lydia Ann Lainhart of Harrodsburg and Gaylean Morris of Canaan, Indiana; and also Judy Demaree of Madison, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
