It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rannie Allen Mahoney of Madison, Indiana, who passed away on September 20, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline E. Williams Mahoney and Hurley Allen Mahoney; his former wife Mary Catherine Tilley Mahoney; his wife Gay Carolyn Ball Mahoney; his siblings, Mervin Dale Mahoney and Eva Lena Mahoney Handlon; and his siblings-in-law, Lela Mae Hammons Mahoney, Connie Lee Mahoney and Everett Kenneth "Kenny" Handlon.
He is survived by: his grandson Barry; his close friend Betty Melton of Madison, Indiana; his children, Paula Mahoney Cull (Michael) of Milton, Kentucky and Barry Mahoney of Carrollton, Kentucky; his granddaughters, Cari Stewart (Josh) of Milton and Kayla Cull (Julian) of Milton, Kentucky; his great grandchildren, Bella Stewart, Jayden South and Trey Reffett; and his siblings, Vernon "Darrell" Mahoney of Madison, Indiana, Myra Hinman of Milton and Brenda Richmond (David) of Bedford, Kentucky. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
