She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleo Patra McIntyre Scott and Robert Howard Scott; her siblings, Mary Janice Scott Romans, Robert Desma "Bobby" Scott and Ora Lee Scott; and her parents-in-law, Carl Charles Lappie and LaVeta A. Wallace Lappie.
She is survived by: her husband Robert N. "Bob" Lappie of Brooksburg, Indiana; her children, Charles "Charlie" Howard Lappie (Radena) of Madison, Indiana and Laveta "Michelle" Lappie Fletcher (Richard) of Madison, Indiana; her stepdaughter Robin Sears (Doug Kovich) of Greenfield, Canada; her grandsons, Logan Takoda Lappie (Jo Dee) and Nicholas Sears; and her siblings, Anita Thompson of Louisville, Virginia May Lopez of Burleson, Texas and David Howard Scott of Trimble County, Kentucky. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
