Peter Woodburn Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 4, 2024, at the age of 82, Peter Woodburn (Madison, Indiana), born in Columbus, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Margaret Lewis Woodburn and Walter Frank Woodburn; and his siblings, Jill Cavanaugh Woodburn and Thomas Arnott "Tom" Woodburn. He is survived by: his husband Wayne Richard Kyle of Madison, Indiana; his sister Mary Jean Woodburn (Vince Johnson) of Vernon, Vermont; his nieces, Julie J. Thevenow Hall of Madison and Laura L. Thevenow Macon of Madison; and his nephew Bud Thevenow of Madison, Indiana. He is also survived by his best friends who were like his brother and his sister; several great nieces, great nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Jefferson County Historical Society to continue Peter's lifelong work in preserving history.
