She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret June Rowlett Lothspeich and Cyril "Bud" Joseph Lothspeich; her sister Patricia "Pat" Jean Hoover; her brother-in-law John Edward Hoover; her brother Michael Joseph Lothspeich; her parents-in-law, Charles Henry Schafer and Elsie Marie Dierkes Schafer; her daughter-in-law Kelly Ann Schafer; and her siblings-in-law, Donald Joseph Schafer and Jo Ann Fraley.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Francis Schafer, Sr. of Madison, Indiana; her children, Robert Francis Schafer, Jr. of Dublin, Ohio and Angela Marie Schafer Potter of Bardstown, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Collin Potter and Megan Potter; her son-in-law Dennis "Denny" Potter of Bardstown, Kentucky; and her siblings-in-law, Linda Greene of Madison, Jane Schafer of Madison, Renee Lothspeich of Decatur, Alabama and Richard Schafer of Palmetto, Florida. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
