He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel O. Huttsell Vestal and Bernard William Vestal; his brother Michael Joe Vestal; his nephew Ian Norris; and his grandparents, Ruth Glascock, Clara Huttsell and Bloomfield Huttsell.
He is survived by: his sons, Gary J. Vestal (Tonya) of Madison and Bill Vestal (Norma) of Washougal, Washington; his grandchildren, Daaren Riley, Phillip Riley, Douglas Vestal and Nikolas Vestal; his fiancée Tina Mitchell of Madison, Indiana; his sisters, Ruthie Lohrig-Kline (Courtney) of Colorado Springs and Debra Norris of Hanover, Indiana; and his nieces, Jennifer Ellen Lohrig, Stephanie Michelle Karin, Shalica Agee and Heather Eaglin Purvis. He is also survived by several great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
