She was predeceased by: her father George Walter Schafer; her grandparents, Tom, Elizabeth Schafer, Bernard and Frances Kitten; her uncle Robert; and her aunt Barbara Kitten.
She is survived by: her mother Mary Veronica Kitten Schafer of Beech Grove, Indiana; her siblings, Mary Frances Schafer, Rose Marie Schafer of Louisville, Kentucky and Carl Thomas Schafer (Barbara) of Muncie, Indiana; her niece Hannah Elizabeth Schafer; her nephew George Bernard Shafer; her aunt Martha Vest of Jeffersonville, Indiana; and her cousin Barbara Ann Prather of Louisville, Kentucky. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
