She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph E. "Joe" Kent; her parents, Lawrence Walter Mix and Ethel Bea Morgan Mix; her siblings, John Mix, Larry Mix, Mona June Mix and Agnes Mix; and her stepdaughter Diane Simm.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Allen Kent (Joyce) of Lexington, Dennis Wayne Kent (Tina Kurtz) of Madison, Indiana, Charlotte Hackett of Madison, Sandra K. Young (Jim) of North Vernon and Deborah J. Kent of Madison, Indiana; her stepson-in-law Carl Simm of Gobles, Michigan; her stepdaughter Carol Feala of Dearborn, Michigan; her siblings, Harold Mix of Seymour, Tommy Mix (Mayme) of Canaan, Indiana and Imogene James of Columbus, Indiana; and her sister-in-law Norma Mix of Hope, Indiana. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 32-great grandchildren and 4-great great grandchildren.
