He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Welti and Ruth Welti (Detmering); and his sister Dorothy Wilzbach (Bob). He is survived by: his wife Ava Lee Delk Welti of Madison, Indiana; his son Francisco "Poncho" Chavez (Becky) of Madison, Indiana; his stepson Robert Allen Jenkins of Falmouth, Kentucky; his grandchild Chay Jenkins; his siblings-in-law, Wayne Delk, Barbara Lee, Timothy and Millie Delk; and his nieces and nephews, Carol Sue, Todd, Jenny, Kevin and Annie. He is also survived by several great nieces, great nephews and other relatives.
