He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Bess Etherton Gray and Rufus Earl Gray; his wife Betty J. Adams Gray; and his siblings, Ralph Earl Gray and Martha Gray.
He is survived by: his daughter Cindy Gray Carter (Steve) of Madison, Indiana; his grandchildren, Wyatt Carter (Katelyn) and Kealyn Jester (Richard); his great grandchildren, Dawson, Leeah Kate, Colton and Alaina; his brother Rick Lee Gray of Canaan, Indiana; his cousin Wilbur Weare (Carol) of Lady Lake, Florida; and his close friends, Jimmy of Madison, Indiana and Ron of Madison, Indiana. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre (325 Demaree Dr, Madison, IN 47250). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Olive Branch Cemetery (4050 IN-62, Madison, IN 47250).
Memorial contributions may be made to Coffee Creek Conservation Club for a shoot in his memory.
