With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kathleen Lawson Lohrig of Madison, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Kathleen left this world on January 18, 2025 at the age of 96, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Olive Josephine Brooks Lawson and Hallie Holt Lawson; and her siblings, Lindley Robert Lawson, Carolyn Jane Neal, Lynne L. Boch, Dora Marjorie Reed and Jeri Ellen Bruner.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Lohrig (Linda) of Colorado Springs, Roger Lohrig (Debbie) of Madison, Indiana, Kathy Byrne (Scott) of Georgetown and Jill Jackson (Fred) of Lexington, Indiana; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Stephanie, Carlie, Will Josh, Sara, Robbie and Brittany; and her great grandchildren, Lauren, Caleb, Michael, Raylee, Luke and Trevor. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre (325 Demaree Dr, Madison, IN 47250). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Zion Community Church or the Western Fire Company No. 3.
