She was predeceased by: her parents, Lige Long and Suella Long (Bolton); her husband Willis Halcomb; her sons, Rogar Allen Halcomb and Harold D. Halcomb; and her siblings, Ina B. Harrison, Minnie Pearl Whitaker, Beatrice Davis, Christine Foley, Elemer Long, Kenny Long and Charles Long.
She is survived by: her sons, Tim Halcomb of New Albany, Paul Edward Halcomb (Mitzie) of North Vernon and Danny Halcomb of Milton, Kentucky; and her daughter-in-law Mary Lou Halcomb of Clayton, Indiana. She is also survived by five grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to Dupont Baptist Church. Contributions may be made at the Lytle Welty Funeral Home or below.
