He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlotte Stella Bissenden Davidson and Vernon Leroy Davidson, Sr.; his siblings, Vernon Leroy Davidson, Jr., Thomas Edward Davidson, William Andrew Davidson, Robert James Davidson, Catherine Elizabeth "Kay" Cooley, Caroline Black and Sara Sacket; and his half-brother Edward Eugene Deppe.
He is survived by: his daughter Julie Davidson of Carmel, Indiana; his sisters, Louise Ricketts of Hanover and Linda Betty Davidson of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and his nephew Billy Ricketts. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews.
