He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith Aldine Waltz Cleveland and John Gerald "Gary" Cleveland; and also Edith Aldine Waltz Cleveland. He is survived by: his wife Lilla Umila Cleveland of Madison, Indiana; his children, Hana Cleveland of Amsterdam, Netherlands and Jack Cleveland of Portland, Oregon; his stepchildren, Brent Hysell of Florida, Johnathon Umila of Madison, Indiana, Danielle Hysell of Louisville, Amber Albert (Ethan) of Santa Monica and Savannah Trapp (Chris) of Madison, Indiana; his stepgrandchildren, Damien, Dexter, Lily and Ashton; his siblings, Renee Cleveland Dean Hampton of Jeffersonville, Lisa Cleveland Laney of Jeffersonville, Indiana, Gary Cleveland of Jeffersonville and Brian Cleveland (Terri) of Charlestown, Indiana; and his siblings-in-law, Gabriel Umila of Louisville, Kentucky, Beatrice Umila of Jeffersonville, Benita Hammons of Smithfield, Linda Foy of Virginia Beach, Patty Boston of Louisville and Neri Umila of New Albany, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Mt Byrd Christian Church (92 Peck Pike Rd, Milton, KY 40045).
