He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Strong and Malta Campbell Strong; his stepfather Malta Campbell Schmidt; his sister Carol Surber; his brother-in-law Neil; his brother Richard Strong; his brother-in-law Walt Ison; and also Howard.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Jean Seigel Strong of Madison, Indiana; his children, Joel David Strong of Madison, Indiana and Jodi Strong Kiefer of Madison, Indiana; his grandsons, Connor Kiefer (Allison Crecelius) of Charlotte and Case Kiefer (Sydney) of Madison, Indiana; and his sisters-in-law, Donna Ison and Margie Strong. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Madison Assembly of God Church or the House of Hope.
