She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Goins and Louise Martha Goins (Helt); her husband Clifford G. "Bud" Smith; her siblings, William "Pinhead" Goins, Benjamin Goins (Mary Jo), Daniel Goins, Audrey Andrews (Whitty) and Mabel Guthrie (William Jean); her brother-in-law Wayne Thomas; her niece Sheila VanTassel; and her nephew Brian Carlow.
She is survived by: her siblings, Mary Duncan (Jim) of Madison, Margaret Carlow (Paul) of Madison, Sherrill Holt (Jim) of Madison, Karen Thomas of Madison, Richard Goins (Marianne) of St. Marys, Charles Goins of Madison and John Goins (Wanda) of Madison; and her sister-in-law Sue Goins of Madison. She is also survived by eight nieces, thirteen nephews, and several great and great great nieces and nephews.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the First Baptist Church Stained Glass Window fund or Women's Missions.
