He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Hutcherson and Louise Furnish Hutcherson Bowling; and his stepfather Floyd Bowling. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia "Cindy" Lynn Schafer Melton; his children, Troy Hutcherson of Indianapolis, Indiana and Jill Banks (Mark) of Madison, Indiana; his grandsons, Daniel, Dylan and Devin Banks; his siblings, Sandy Lane Hall (Lee) of Louisville, Kentucky and Gordon Hutcherson of Morehead City; his brother-in-law Carl Ray Schafer (Debbie) of Madison, Indiana; and his mother-in-law Carolyn Lopez of Madison, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
