It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenn Dale Murphy of Madison, Indiana, who passed away on August 14, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Florence Hougland Murphy and Granville Burl Murphy; his former wife Paula Marie Blackman Murphy; his sister Donna Sue Murphy Mosley; and his great grandchild Kayden Starrett.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Boas-Murphy of Madison, Indiana; his children, Shelly (J. Michael Smith) of Madison, Indiana, Jeff Gilstrap of Madison, Indiana, Cindy (Ollie Birge) of Dupont and Pam (Eric Sherron) of Salem, Indiana; his stepson Darrin Boas (Shawna); his grandchildren, Jessica, Jeffrey, Jada, Megan, Jaclyn, Jack, Carrie and Olivia; his stepgrandchildren, Brandon Boas and Morgan Boas; his great grandchildren, Brice, Collin, Baylee, Jaelynn, Jolee of Rowyn, L. J. and Jackson Glenn; and his sister Marcia Slone (Tilden) of Seymour, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
