He was predeceased by: his parents, Redford Taylor Chandler and Lillian Bell McDole Chandler; his wife Janice Gay Gilley Chandler; and his siblings, Grover J. Chandler, J. R. Chandler, Bennie Truman Chandler, Roger Allen Chandler, Dorothy "Dottie" Ruth Chandler Winkle and Judy Ann Chandler Jones.
He is survived by: his sons, Eugene Wayne Chandler, Jr. (Jennifer) of Havana, Garry Chandler (Patti) of Madison and Jeff Chandler of Madison, Indiana; his grandchildren, Gabe Chandler (Brittany) and Josh Chandler; his great grandchildren, Alexa, Jaxson, Knox and Lennox; his sisters, Phyllis Kirby (Larry) of Milton and Doris Moler of Madison, Indiana; and his siblings-in-law, Ted Chatham of Hanover, Indiana, Pat Corbin of Madison and Karen Corbin of Madison, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
