She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Maud Yunker Heitz and Lawrence Michael Heitz; her husband Everett W. Schafer; her brother Wallace Heitz; her grandson Everett Michael Schafer; her daughter-in-law Connie L. Griffith; her great grandchild Gage Shane Stevens; and also Martha.
She is survived by: her children, Michael F. Schafer (Teresa Stucker) of Madison, Norbert E. Schafer (Deena) of Madison, Indiana, Rose Ferguson (Jerry) of Dupont, Kathy Dunn (Larry) of Madison and Jane Schafer of Madison, Indiana; her grandchildren, Felicity Stevens, David Ferguson (Kelly), Christi Cahall, Sandy Dyer, Beverly Taylor (Jason), Kyle Dunn (Krystle), Ryan Schafer (Jessica), Laura Schafer, Emily Schafer and Eric Schafer (Amy); her great grandchildren, Waylan, Hayden, Gunner, Anika, Bailey, Morgan, Jessie, Jared, Abby, Brett, Zach, Jake, Casey, Cameran, Beau, Jackson, Natalie, Caraline, Wesley, Molly, Magnolia and Mariella; and her brother-in-law John Schafer (Sharon) of Madison, Indiana. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
