With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ed P. Shepherd Sr. of Madison, Indiana, who passed away on May 31, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Larry Kirkendoll; his parent Ruth Kirkendoll; his brother Thomas Shepherd; his wife Leola Brierly; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Mack.
He is survived by: his children, Ed Shepherd, Jr. (Mindy Stephan) of Lexington and Lisa Batson Lee (Danny) of Shepherdsville, Kentucky; his sister Denise Seelmaer (Bob) of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Haleigh, Blake Stephan, Paige Ann Nicole Melton, Ariona Rak, Tisha Batson, Dalton Brewer and Nathanial Brewer; his great grandchildren, Hunter Joe Melton, Joseph Rak, Isabella Elaine Melton and Dixie Rak; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Boston, Rita Kinman, Juanita Brandum (Jeff), James Brierly (Donna) and Ernie Mack. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
