He is survived by: his wife Mary Carol Stanner Lorton of Madison, Indiana; his children, Marylyn Kirchner (Joe), Donna Turner, Sarah Ray (Danny), Patti Welsh, Michael Lorton (Louise), Barbara McDonough (Dennis), Scott Karst (Michelle), John Lorton and Beth Taylor (Bryan); his grandchildren, Tom Kirshner, Julie Lee, Jenny Baldwin, Louann Kirchner, Robert Turner, Jr., Daniel Ray, Kelli Schmidt, Buddy Welsh, Mandy Christensen, John-Michael Lorton, Mary-Louise Lorton, Lucy Lorton, Mindy Hoback, John McDonough of Jack Karst, A. J, Cody Taylor and Cori Taylor; his sister Maripearl Kitchen; and his siblings-in-law, Peggy Stratman, Gladys Stratman, Jeanette Hertz of Madison, Sally McKenna of Madison, Susan Burke of Charlestown, Indiana and Mike Scarff (Nita) of Madison, Indiana. He is also survived by grandchildren; his 10-great great grandchildren.
