He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover C. Callis and Fredia Kathryn Perry Callis; his brothers, Darrell B. Callis, Paul E. Callis, John Trimble Perry and Lloyd Wayne Callis; his sisters-in-law, Alma B. Callis and Ann Louise Perry; and his grandson Christopher A. Callis.
He is survived by: his wife Della Mae Short Callis of Madison, Indiana; his sons, Kenny Callis (Teance) of Florida and Greg Callis of Blocher, Indiana; his stepson Jack Edwards, Jr. of New Castle, Indiana; his grandchildren, Denille Moore (Jeremy) and Sommor Mullins; his great grandchildren, Christian, Christopher, Kal, Spencer, Jupiter, Mireya and Violet; his stepgrandchildren, Tyler, Jared, Sadie and Paizlee; his nieces, Theresa Huffman of Lawrenceburg, Indiana and Karen Lovins; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Whitney, Dave Howe, Maleah and Rylan.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
