He was predeceased by: his father Roger L. Lewis; his brother Rustin R. Lewis; and his grandparents, Archie R. Helton, Wilma J. Helton, Charles William Lewis and Mildred Lucille Ford Lewis.
He is survived by: his mother Patricia Helton Lewis of Madison, Indiana; his godmother Darlena Griffin of Deputy, Indiana; his siblings, Kilena Chadwell (Louis "Butch" Perry) of Madison, Indiana and Bobby Griffin, Jr. of Deputy, Indiana; his niece Selena Chadwell; and his uncles, Joe Helton and Mark Helton.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre (325 Demaree Dr, Madison, IN 47250). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Derrick Lewis Remembrance Fund.
