He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Andrew and Myrtle Jeanette Hardesty (Hermus). He is survived by: his wife Gina Owens of Madison; his children, Nathan Hardesty, Nick Hardesty, Sheena Hardesty of Monticello, Jeremy Owens of Deputy, Haley Montiel (David) of Versailles, Justin Mundt of Deputy and Heather Hardy (Dakota) of Deputy; his mother-in-law Peggy Owens of Deputy; his grandchildren, Jazlyn, Kylar and Owen; and his great grandchildren, Everest, Raelynn and Jackson. He is also survived by seven brothers, two sisters.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Honor Guard of Major Samuel Woodfill Post #9, American Legion, Madison. Contributions may be made at the Lytle Welty Funeral Home or below.
