He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Louise Estes Pyles; his parents, Arthur Edward "Pete" Pyles and Eleanor Lorraine Rand Pyles; his son Jeffrey Wayne Pyles; his sister Edwena "Wendy" Matthews; his sibling-in-law Lee; and his sister Janet Turner.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Heather; his children, Daryle Edward Pyles (Karen, Jr.) of Hanover, Shawn David Pyles of Madison, Justin Pyles of Madison, Indiana and Heather Kirby (William) of Hanover, Indiana; his grandchildren, Aubrey Johns, Jonathan Cody Pyles, Dylan Pyles, William Jeffrey Blake Kirby and Ashton Blaine Kirby; his great grandchildren, Mason, Megan, Savannah and River; his siblings, Rick Pyles (Darlene) of Phoenix, Arizona, Linda Owens (David) of North Vernon, Sonja Drake of North Vernon and Pricilla Huff (Waylon) of North Vernon, Indiana; and his sister-in-law Donna Vestal of Madison, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
